MUSIC GUARANTEE TO DRIVE AWAY THE BLUES

Once in a while, the money oriented record companies do get it right when they make compilation CD, though more often than not they goofed due to the profit factor.  The following CDs are what I thought they did right.

MISSING YOU : AN ALBUM OF LOVE SONGS : As this double CD titled suggested, the songs here chosen to stir your sentimental side.Consisted of 37 tracks, the favorites are 'It Must Have Been Love', 'The Power Of Love', 'Every time You Go Away', and 'Unchained Melody'. I have most of the songs here. The songs that I don't have in my collection are Jon Secada's 'Just Another Day' and John Waite's 'Missing You'. I was working in Kuantan when I bought this. Guess I was homesick and wasn't even aware of it myself so I bought this to remind me of home. DOP : 24th June 1996.

KUSCHELROCK 7 : The same goes for this double CD here. Lonesomeness made me buy songs that I've already have and it's not cheap too. This one is more current. At least it contains quite a number of songs that I don't have. Queen's 'Love Of My Life', 4 Non Blondes iconic 'What's Up', Roxette's Queen Of Rain'. I love this song and it was not on their greatest hit collection. Wouldn't be surprised if I bought this CD just for this song. And there's Mariah Carey's unplugged version of The Jackson 5's 'I'll Be There' and even Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven' .The next disc have Patty Smyth & Don Henley's beautiful 'Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough', Michael Bolton's version of 'To Love Somebody', and Queen's Brian May's 'Too Much Love Will Kill You'. How can it go wrong and it didn't. DOP : 3rd February 1996.
