THE MUSICIANS' MUSICIAN - SANTANA

THE BEST OF SANTANA : Evil Ways, Black Magic Woman and Oye Como Va. Who can forget these songs ? If you were around in the 1960's and you haven't heard this few songs, then you must either be deaf or living under a rock. In the 60s, it was cool to like Santana. Everybody claimed to like them, especially schoolboys even if they know next to nothing about music. That was how big Santana were in the 60's .Led by Carlos Santana, there were the musician's musicians 'cos there were pretty much faceless. Most of their songs were sung by guest artists. Other songs that I like were, their take on Agent's 'She's Not There', ‘No One To Depend On' and the instrumental 'Samba Pa Ti'. The other songs that I like that were not here were ' Guarjira' and ' Hope You're Feeling Better' Well I guess you can't have it all. DOP : Unknown.

Far from being a spend force, Santana were to gain even more success in 1999 with the album "Supernatural' but that's another story. I haven't got that album yet. When I do, I will tell you about it.
